How to Control Your Google Account After Your Death?

It is true that, No-one is deathless in this world. Every living creatures has to die after the birth. This question is still unanswered "What really happens after our death?". There are different religious views about this issue. Don't be confuse, I'm not sharing any religious views about what will be after death here. I am just going to tell you that "You Can Control Your Google Account After Your Death". Not only this, you can pass your Google Assets to your beloved one also :). I know now you are in confusion, how this could be possible? Yeah, sure it is possible, Google made it possible now. Google come up with a new feature. By using this feature anyone can tell Google what you want do with your Google account when you die or can no longer use your account.

The feature named "Inactive Account Manager" allows you to tell the Google, that what should Google will take action for your Inactive account or if you have kicked the bucket.

How to Setup it?

Simply go to setting section of Inactive Account Manager
There you can setup Alert Option, Timeout period and Mobile number.Using this you can choose timeout period like 3 month, 6 month etc, if you would like to pass all your virtual assets to someone like your relatives, Friends and beloved one put mobile number of them. When the time is out Google will take action You can set this actions in your Google Inactive setup such as you have the option to set to get notification email or text before the period expires. This feature gives you the  opportunity to stop the process before it goes for any further. If you haven’t stop action process, then Google will notify any pre-determined contacts and depending on the user's settings, may share their Google data with them or delete it.
Google After Death
Google Inactive Manger is along with following services,  +1s, Blogger, Google Drive,  Google+ Profiles, Pages and Streams, Gmail,  Picasa Web Albums,  Google Voice and YouTube, Contacts and Circles.

If Google is providing such service, why not to try this? But remember, if you do not use your google account until the setup-ed period still you are alive and gave mobile number or verification authority to other, Google will delete your account completely, so before apply the changes think one time. In other hand this is a awesome feature of Google. If you have any question regarding this service, let me know using comment box below. Peace, Happy Bloggingl.

    1. As intentioned above, if you set the time of Inactive period on Inactive Account Manager defiantly google/Blogspot will notify the person who is assigned for contact otherwise google/Blogger will delete it :) #in my view !!

  5. Interesting post here....it pays to think through your after life blogging plan lol....Most of us are super young but once you develop some big time adsense, or just ad revenue, and grow a massive list through your blog, you are sitting on a serious asset.

    Thanks for sharing Bishnu!

  11. I think to whom Google Accounts matter like we (bloggers) can't stay without Google for long time. So we can use this feature without thinking of risks.

Facebook Also have same feature - Report a Deceased Persons Profile on Facebook

Facebook feature insures that a person's death by uploading death certificate. But in Google it is some risks to enable such feature.
